I’m Wearing: Ripped Denim & Fringing

Top: Peacocks, Jeans: Whistles, Shoes: New Look, Bag: Primark

I’ve lost count of how many pairs of ripped jeans I’ve searched for, tried on, ripped myself and then abandoned. Then it happened, I found the perfect pair. I’d gone into Whistles looking for a graduation dress when I spotted these jeans in the sale, silently praying that they would fit and looked how I imagined they would in my head. And voila they were perfect, the search was called off and I raced to the till before anyone could stop me.

This outfit is a little bit Free People and a little bit Sienna Miller a la boho era, a girl whose style I’ve always admired. This fringed edged bag was another item I knew I had to have as soon as I saw it crop up in a spring/summer preview online. I used to own one pretty similar from Primark but let it go to the charity shop and have regretted it ever since, so I’m happy to have something similar back in my life.

Do you find yourself searching for something for ages and then coming across it unexpectedly?

Love this look on you! I never think to look at jeans in whistles due to the price tag but the perfect jeans are pretty priceless!
Your top is gorgeous- what fabric is it? Much prefer softer fabrics (than chiffon-y) these days, us mummies get hot and bothered easily!!
M&S have a gorgeous shirt that would look cute with that outfit too in their Limited Collection. It’s a white base with a multicoloured boho-esque print and in a shorter, square cut.
    I’m sorely tempted!!
    Another gorgeous look Lucy x
