What I Got For Christmas

I was extremely lucky to get some rather amazing presents this Christmas and because these are my favourite kind of posts to read (and who doesn’t like a nose at what other people got) I thought I’d share some of the bits I was fortunate enough to receive albeit a good few weeks after the festive season.

I’M GOING TO THAILAND!!! My favourite gift (sorry Santa) has got to be this surprise from my boyfriend. After opening little numbered clues (and still not managing to guess as I went along) I was eventually greeted with the flight details and can’t wait to jet off for some sunshine in the Spring.

I also got this pretty little package from French Connection with miniature from their range and it smells of yummy vanilla loveliness.

When it comes to beauty it’s safe to say 2015 is going to be a year that smells and looks good. I love a gift set and managed to get my hands on three of the big beauty boxes from Boots including the Soap and Glory, Ted Baker and Jack Wills sets. I’m a huge fan of Soap and Glory and Ted Baker smellies anyway but was also keen to try the new Jack Wills offering, plus it came with a bag which is perfect as a small overnight bag.

I’ve read review after review of how good the Naked Palettes are and I’ve been keen to jump on the bandwagon and see what the hype was about for a while now. The set is full of coppery, creamy, nude and gold toned shades which create the perfect day, night and smokey eyes.

When it comes to scent I’m a Marc Jacobs girl (who isn’t?) and get through bottles of Daisy like no tomorrow so the new Daisy Dream scent is currently mixing up my dressing table at the moment. I also love the Next scents as an on the go fragrance and received the Just Pink and Sparkle scents too.

Sophie Kinsella books are some of my favourites to read, especially the Shopaholics series so the new Shopaholic to the Stars book is my current night time read. I mentioned in my last post that I wanted to bake more this year and hopefully these new baking books will aid my culinary desires.

I got a few clothing bits this year including a new faux fur gilet from Next, camel coat from GAP, a couple of new hats and some joggers from Jack Wills – which are now permanently attached to me as soon as I get home from work. I also got these shoes from Topshop which are similar to most other shoes I own (black, buckled and chunky) because you can never have enough of a good thing.

I’d love to know what everyone else got for Christmas so let me know!

P.S this post is in no way me bragging about anything I received – I must have just been really good.
