Where Lucy’s Lookbook Went: Cambridge Botanic Garden

On a sunny Sunday I decided a trip to the Cambridge Botanic Garden was in order to soak up the sunshine and explore what’s on offer in the city aside from Grand Arcade. Having visited the garden once before in sixth form and *attempting* to put pencil to paper it was time for a more leisurely trip.

I (unintentionally) decided to wear all Primark for the occasion pairing my new button down a line skirt with an off the shoulder white top. I’m loving off the shoulder styles lately as they provide the perfect balance of showing off enough but not too much, you can see my favourite picks of off the shoulder tops here.

After we’d wandered round the gardens, peeked into the boiling hot green houses and ventured in to cactus central (heaven if you’re succulent inclined) we walked into Cambridge city centre for a bite to eat. Jamie’s Italian was the pick of the day for some carb loaded goodness – I picked the Rigatoni Pomadoro and it was delicious. Before heading home for a barbeque there was just enough time to pick up an ice cream from Thorntons and cool off in the warm Cambridge sunshine. Luckily calories don’t count on Sunday – phew!
