Nail Polish for Autumn

nail polish I’m a nail polish hoarder. I can’t get enough of the bottles of the shiny stuff and I probably *definitely* have over 100 bottles by now…oops! I find it so relaxing to just sit down, grab a magazine and a cuppa and paint my nails for an hour with my favourite show on Netflix, the ultimate me time.

My favourite shades have got to be the deep reds, purples and camel colours that are only ever acceptable in autumn/winter. In celebration of my favourite nail season (yep that’s a thing now) I’ve rounded up five of my favourite nail shades so that you can get painting your talons too.

My browny/purpley (perfect colour description right there) current nail polish love for autumn is the Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Polish in Violine Hypnotique. it’s currently the shade I’m wearing at the moment and is perfect if you just want to do one coat and go as it provides enough coverage and dries really quickly.

Two of my favourite reds are the Collection Lasting Colour Nail Polish in Vixen Red and Orly Colour Blast in Cherry Creme. For me autumn is all about red polishes as it just sums up the colder months. I’ve also been gravitating towards camel shades and this Nails Inc Polish in Coville Mews is the perfect shade for an understated nail look. I’m also loving this little mini from Stella McCartney Nail Polish in Plum which was in a goody bag I received so I’m not too sure if it’s widely available unless you purchase a Stella perfume – soz!
