Chopping Board: Wilkinson, Candles, And Sign and Coasters: Primark, White Basket and Picture: Poundland, Copper Basket: Tiger, Jug: Orla Kiely at John Lewis

After my first ever homeware post on here back in March (where has the time gone?!) I thought it was about time to do a little update as I seem to have collected a few homeware pieces over the last few weeks. Some things are bits I’ve collected for when we finally find a house and other pieces are for my room at the moment. I’m a big fan of budget homeware pieces as they can really update your home, everything in this homeware haul was under £15 each, which is a pretty great bargain if you ask me!

I absolutely love Primark for their candles and always end up stocking up on them when I’m in store, their scents smell amazing although I do wish they smelt a little stronger when they are burning. I picked up the white tea and peony and red berry and jasmine scents and these are two of my favourites from the collection, I also picked up a copper cased candles, because well it was copper. I also picked up some copper edged heart coasters which have a black chalk coloured middle, they come in packs of 4 and I just thought these would be really nice for either a living room or bedroom. Another Primark buy was the gold ampersand sign which is currently sat on top of some of my lifestyle books in my room.

Also on the heart theme I got a heart shaped chopping board from Wilkinson’s which I thought would be really nice for those cup of tea and cake sessions. I also got a copper bin from Tiger, I’m not too sure what I’m going to use this for yet but at the moment I’m thinking it will be good next to the sofa with some blankets rolled in it.

Those people at Poundland (yes Poundland!) also know how to do homeware and this New York print was obviously a £1 – does everyone else always go round muttering it’s a £1? They also had London and Paris prints in there too. I also purchased the white style basket from their to put books and magazines in. Possibly my favourite buy of all is the Orla Kiely jug which was in the sale in John Lewis. I adore Orla Kiely prints so I was really excited to find this for under £15.

I’m sure there will be lots more home posts coming soon once we get a house too.

Let me know what homeware you’ve been buying recently too and where from!
